1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BoxQR ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

BoxQR is a web-based platform that allows users to create digital inventories of physical storage boxes, generate QR codes for easy access, and organize their belongings.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must:

  • Create an account with accurate information
  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service.

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Infringes intellectual property rights
  • Contains illegal or harmful material
  • Violates any person's privacy
  • Contains malware or malicious code

5. Subscription and Payments

Free Plan

The Free plan includes limited features and a maximum number of boxes as specified on our pricing page.

Pro Plan

The Pro plan is billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You can cancel anytime from your account settings
  • No refunds for partial billing periods
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by BoxQR and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ends immediately
  • We may delete your data after a reasonable period
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOXQR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BoxQR from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Modifications to Service

We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where BoxQR is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration.
